class collaboration
students age 7 to 11 worked on drawing scenes from the street outside over a period of a few months, we put them all together in a street scene to complete the view from our school

color mixing paintings
students ages 6 and 10 painted images from national geographic magazine, using only the primary colors (red, blue, yellow) they mixed all of the secondary colors and carefully copied the details and values in the photo they worked from.
